Imagine my surprise , when my partner and I excitedly switched on to my DVR recording of TLC’s Virgin Diaries, to see one of its starring roles portrayed by a Frederick native. In the show, Carey, 35 and still a virgin, ventures to wondrous spots such Bentz St. Sports Bar [one of those bars that adds you on Facebook and then forces invites and messages down your throat until you can figure out how to delete them], and ~Danielles~ [R.I.P] where my littler sister went for her Senior Homecoming. Ah, nostalgia.  The show also featured a walking tour of Whittier, Frederick’s very own Stepford Wive community, and a 5second shot of the Library on Market. St. Beautiful, stunning, mesmerizing! I can feel Frederick faming boilin in me blood.

You guys, Frederick got a Wegmans off route 26. This is a big deal because Frederick needed another high quality grocery store. Actually it just needed another buffet-type establishment. Life is good in Frederick, people.

Frederick or Bust.

I am in the process of completing a three-phase plan for my life:

1. Move to Frederick, Maryland (Done - as of May 28).

2. Initiate a mass exodus of friends from their respective cities to Frederick, Maryland over the next several years. Progress report: This is going well. Within 2 months of my move, at least three friends will join me in Frederick. Within 6 months there will be a fourth. Within 12 months a fifth. These are confirmed moves - the sky is the limit.

3. Die of old age in Frederick, Maryland (many many decades from now).

You can expect your world to be filled with wonderment and magic. It is, of course, the epitome of both things. I would pack lightly, because the Frederick nymphs are more than just nymphs - they’re thiefs! In an almost adorable sense, though. They love to steal, and then place enchantments onto your belongings. It’s almost more cute than it is illegal!
